Hadestown at the V&A 2026 Performance Festival
On 25 April 2026 we invited audiences to experience the myth and music of Hadestown like never before at the V&A 2026 Performance Festival.
At the V&A South Kensington, the cast and musicians of Hadestown, performed a very special live performance of curated songs, surrounded by sculptural depictions of figures from Greek mythology in the epic setting of the museum’s Medieval and Renaissance Gallery.

The 2026 Victoria and Albert Museum Performance Festival invited the public to reflect on the influence of music and sound on the way we experience the world around us. Exploring reverberation, repetition and mythmaking as a wide range of special events took place throughout the museum, including live performances, screenings, talks, tours and workshops, all inspired by the theme ‘Echoes’.
